Non-resident owner basics
The essentials if you own Spanish property but live elsewhere.
Owning a home in Spain while living abroad comes with a yearly Spanish tax obligation, even in a year when the property sits empty or is only used by you.
To file, you need a Spanish tax identification number (an NIE) and a few details about the property, including the value on your IBI receipt. We ask only what the return needs and explain each term in plain language.
Each owner files their own return. If a couple owns one property together, both file, which is why we handle two owners together for one clear price.

Start in your language. You'll see the price before anything is filed.
